    Appetizers

    Apple Maple Bacon Jam Nachos

Team Terrapin's favorite recipe of the season. Your friends and family will devour, we promise.

    Ingredients:
    5 Apples, Honey Crisp
1 jar Terrapin Ridge Farms Apple Maple Bacon Jam
    4 oz blue cheese
    1 cup walnut pieces
1/4 cup lemon juice (to keep color)
    Directions:
In a saute pan toast the walnut pieces until slightly brown. Use medium heat. This happens quickly ad can burn easily so stay with it tossing the nuts in the pan, about one minute. Set nuts aside. Cut apples in half, remove the core then slice into 1/8 inch slices. Place into shallow bowl and add lemon juice to keep the apples from turning brown. Remove apples from lemon juice. Use a paper towel to remove excess moisture. Arrange on a plate in a spiral pattern. Drizzle Apple Maple Bacon Jam over apples. Top with blue cheese and walnuts. Enjoy!

Take about 1/2 tsp Terrapin Ridge Farms Cranberry Relish with Grand Marnier and top each fillo pastry. Bake in over for about 7 minutes, or until Brie is melted and Voila! The perfect Thanksgiving Appetizer, done in minutes.

BONUS EXTRA! Find out Mary's trick to cooking her Thanksgiving Turkey perfectly, year after year.

This turkey is guaranteed to be moist and savory. And the trick is all in the bag!

    Ingredients:
1 Turkey, size is your preference
Turkey Oven Roasting Bags, we like True Liberty Bags
1 to 2 sticks of Butter
    Salt, Pepper
    Seasoning of your choosing
    Directions:
Coat the turkey in room temp butter and add any seasoning you like. Move the seasoned turkey to the roasting bag and tie with the ties in the bag. Place turkey in a turkey roaster and roast for the appropriate time per your turkey's weight. The temperature of the turkey thigh should be 165 degrees F. You can leave the turkey to sit in the roaster on "warm" or let it sit in the bag to further moisten. When it is ready to serve, cut the Turkey from the bag and enjoy the best turkey ever!
